Time for a different holiday
Did you always dream of healping the rainforest? Planting trees, meeting the locals, maybe even seeing the orangutans? Next year you can, at one or our projects!
The Sumatran Orangutan Society has partnered with Different Travel to give you the opportunity to spend 13 days in Sumatra, assisting OIC’s restoration and permaculture teams at Bukit Mas and Cinta Raja. You will meet the children at the Leuser Nature School and you’ll have a chance to trek in Gunung Leuser National Park in search of Sumatran orangutans living wild in the forest.
The trip will take place from 15th – 27th March 2020, with a group of between 10 – 20 people. You will be accompanied throughout the trip by local guides (English-speaking), driver, and a Different Travel UK tour manager.
Accommodation will consist of a combination of hotels and project cabins, depending on location. Most of your meals are included. The minimum age for this trip is 18, although 16-17 year olds may register if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Book your trip now and go meet Sumatra, and maybe even our beloved Orangutans.
